For a limited time only, Year of the Dead will be available for free on Smashwords

One of the perks of being exclusive with Amazon is that authors were allowed to give out free downloads of their books for five days every three months. Smashwords on the other hand allows authors to give out free copies of their books whenever they want. Now that I’m back to selling on Smashwords for a limited time (right now I have no idea how long), I’ll be allowing free downloads of Year of the Dead. You can get it at this link:

My eBooks are now on sale at Barnes and Nobles, Kobo, and Smashwords

For a while there, Amazon gave me unbelievably good incentives to be exclusive with them; so I stopped selling through every other retailer. In the past six months, Amazon has nerfed these incentives to the point of almost being useless; so I’m back to selling on Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and Smashwords. Soon my eBooks will be available on the Sony bookstore and iTunes.

It’s funny how one thing leads to another. I got bored a year ago so I wrote a book. Then I wrote two more. Because I wrote a book, I started a blog. The Characters in Sustainable Earth are based on real people

I know its standard in books to put use the disclaimer that none of the characters in a book are based on real people and that all similarities are coincidental. As an author, I’ve done the complete opposite. Many if not most of my characters in Year of the Dead and Death by Revelation are based on real people. To protect the innocent and my own behind, the real identities of the people I’ve used as models will never be disclosed to the public.
